Chickasha native Travis Linville was 1 of many Oklahoma artists performing at the Music4Moore fundraiser this past May, as we’ve already reported. The 35-year-old singer-songwriter and guitar picker shared that honor with fellow Okies JD McPherson, Parker Millsap, and The Queen of Rock ’n’ Roll, Wanda Jackson. Appearing on the east stage, Linville was the evening’s 2nd performer.
Growing up in a musical family, Linville mastered improvisational guitar styles at an early age. He moved to Norman in 1996 to study art and music, but spent most of his time on the road playing dancehalls and dives. He has played with Willie Nelson, Travis Linville & the Burtschi Brothers, and Texas singer-songwriter Hayes Carll.
