City or Norman Special Election

Norman Norman res­i­dents had the oppor­tu­nity to cast their bal­lots today dur­ing early absen­tee vot­ing in the munic­i­pal election.

Voters will elect a new mayor and also vote for city coun­cil mem­bers in even-num­bered wards. They will also decide whether to pass bonds to fund street resur­fac­ing, reha­bil­i­ta­tion, and recon­struc­tion. Finally, they will vote on 6 pro­posed amend­ments to the city charter.

Polls close at 6 PM tonight, and reopen on Tuesday, 5 April at 7:00 AM. To find your polling place and view a sam­ple bal­lot, visit the Cleveland County Election Board web­site.
